Scorpio Inn is a cool, quiet, and cozy refuge located on the foothills of the Blue Mountains in the community of Mavis Bank in the parish of St. Andrew. It offers an unforgettable breath taking view of the Blue Mountain, the peak and the Yallahs River.
Blue Mountain Peak is the highest mountain in Jamaica (2256 meters or 7402 feet high). It is the home to the Blue Mountain coffee, bananas and the famous Blue Mountain tours. The Blue Mountain is considered by many to be the hikers and campers paradise. People from around world come to experience the 7 miles hike to peak, normally during the night so that they can experience the beautiful sunrise.
Mavis Bank is renown for the coffee factory, Jablum Jamaica Limited, located just five minutes away from Scorpio Inn, where guests can tour and purchase Blue Mountain coffee straight from the factory.
Scorpio Inn is a 14 bedroom villa, each room with its own private bath. There is also a restaurant, a bar, and a gift shop for your convenience. We also cater for groups, seminars, retreats, weddings and parties.
- At Papine turn left along the Gordon Town main road.
- Continue along until you reach the Gordon Town Police Station beside a narrow bridge.
- You are now on the Mavis Bank main road. You will find that the road is narrow, so please use caution.
- Continue along the main road until you have reached the Mavis Bank Coffee stop.
- Keep left over the bridge passing the coffee factory on the right until you have reached the Mavis Bank Square.
- Continue ahead until you have passed a police station and an Anglican Church.
- Keep right until you see the Scorpio Inn sign on the left.
- Scorpio Inn is located opposite the Mavis Bank high school.
